So much for the campaign 35% corporate tax bracket claim as one of the highest business tax rates in the world.

In 2007, the latest Federal data available, wealthy corporations paid just 14% of federal tax receipts. This did not even cover the US deficit. Inflationary treasury borrowing with institutionalized government usury made up the difference.

In 2007, wealthy corporations paid less than one third of individual income taxes and less than one fifth of individual income taxes and triple-taxed regressive FICA social security taxes.

In 2007 Americans paid two thirds of Federal Receipts on top of other property, registration, sales and state taxes. We know who the sacrificial lambs are: the disappearing middle class.

The One Mil Total Transaction Tobin Tax

America has a long and powerful history of tax protesting with can do defacto pragmatic reform.

After John Hancock’s ship Liberty was seized by the Brits for smuggling, colonists dressed as Mohawk or Naragansett Indians with Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty tipped taxed British East India tea into the Boston harbor.
