Influential philologist philosopher provocateur Nietzsche renounced his Prussian citizenship to become stateless. He taught in Basel, wrote prolifically and died of a brain ailment like his father, in the care of his sister.

Nietzsche wrote Beyond Good and Evil, God is Dead, Master/Slave Morality, Ubermensch/Superman, and The Gay Science (poetry).

Nietzsche’s sister posthumously edited and issued his Will to Power.

Nietzsche’s rupture with both his editor and Wagner over anti-Semitism, pan-Germanism and, to a lesser extent, nationalism, allegedly led Wagner to embrace all three, making Wagner one of Hitler’s favorite authors and composers.

Adolf Hitler’s and Karl Marx’s histories and sick ideas are worth understanding to prevent those who do not know history from repeating it.

They are more widespread than most realize.

Hitler was a frustrated student artist who admired Iron Chancellor Bismarck.

He lived an idle life financed by his father’s civil service pension.

Hitler was an Austrian draft dodger and German Iron Cross medal dispatch-runner in World War I, until he was blinded by a Mustard Gas attack and hospitalized in 1918.

Hitler went into severe depression when he learned the war was over and the Germans had lost.

He wanted to restore the glory of the Fatherland.

Hitler worked after the war as a spy for the German Army to infiltrate revolutionary movements.
