Critique of Impure Politics With Apologies to Immanuel Kant
He denied the facts and said he served the President (not the Country).
Typically, politicians immediately circled wagons at one of their kind being held to account. They called it scapegoating and said they would not vote for his resignation. We saw this with the Clinton Impeachment, which turned serious treason against National Security into a sexual stain.
So this is what is wrong with Washington DC.
Beside being out of touch with mainstream America, politicians or lobbyists routinely break promises. They violate the Constitution of the United States after taking the oath to preserve, protect and defend it.
With a 98% rate of reelection of incumbents, it is clear either voting is compromised or many of them are not being held accountable for ruining America with funding by Foreign Corporate special interests.
