The Pakistan Puzzle

The Christian Science Monitor questioned whether the lawlessness of Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas bordering Afghanistan spilled over to the far away NWFP governed by modern Pakistan laws:

On 10 October 2009, Taliban also reportedly executed successful simultaneous attacks far away to control the underground tunnels in South Waziristan NWFP, which access Pakistan nuclear missile arsenals.

Neither of these market strategic events was reported in government monopoly mass media as the squid octopus further strangled the Middle East in a careful game of chess.

How strategic these moves are is more likely to be reflected in oil prices than gold, as control of oil appears to be the purpose.

The Pakistan Army is in South Waziristan to protect their nuclear missiles, not US interests in Afghanistan, as misreported by government monopoly media.

No wonder the Big 4 are net long oil here now.

It is worth remembering during these heady market prices, that oil revenues, stock revenues, earnings and bond yields are still way below 2006 peaks, consistent with the big deflation picture.

No amount of funny government money may overcome a deflationary supertrend whose time has come.

That’s may be why the Big4 Asset Allocation Report is long dollars and oil; short bonds, stocks and gold.
