Some might be forgiven for thinking Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Pakistan casus belli, casus foederis, jus ad bellum may be the run-up to World War III Armageddon in the Middle East.
Armageddon is the ultimate battle on the blood red plains of Esdraelon or Megiddo, an Israel passageway for armies through rocky hills that Napoleon used.
On the eastern side of Megiddo, the plain path leads from Jezreel into the Jordan Valley, which desert Arab Midianites used for millennia to raid Palestinians.
