Signs of the Times~ Tracking Big Footprints in this Market

One of the best trackers in the world is Tom Brown Jr.

He wrote book with his passion and talent and runs a Tracker school.

Good trackers learn to pay attention to context, landscape, tracks and spoor.

Spoor may include tracks, scat, feathers, kills, scratching posts, trails, drag marks, sounds, scents, marking posts, the behavior of other animals, habitat weather cues, and any other clues about the identity and whereabouts of the quarry.

Big4 can be a market tracker’s best friend, as it can tell us what the biggest richest investors are doing.

Big4 sold most asset categories except deflation hedges and some food.

One of the nice things about Berkshire Hathaway management is they tell shareholders what they are doing and post it on the internet.

Over the weekend, Mr Buffett released his annual letter to shareholders over the weekend, telling them what he has been doing and what he thinks.

While it is best to read the entire letter, it is worth noting he still makes no attempts to predict the market.

Mr Buffett notes BRK’s outstanding long-term performance may converge on S&P500 performance.

In fact, BRK is now one of the largest S&P500 stocks.

Mr Buffett seems to have made portfolio changes reducing some consumer, energy and financial stocks and increasing some industrial medical stocks including BDX, IRM and RSG.
