On 9 October 2009 the Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize Committee announced President Obama would receive the $1.4 Million Peace Prize on 10 December 2009 in Oslo:

Nobel Peace Prize nominations closed in February of 2009, less than half a month after Barrack Hussein Obama assumed office.

Perhaps it was prior work as a Junior Senator from Chicago or the Berlin Campaign speech?

There appears to be considerable cognitive dissonance and disconnect with Barrack Hussein Obama’s peaceful campaign statements and subsequent bellicose actions expanding troops and prolonging war in Afghanistan, Iraq plus invading Pakistan with Predator drone missiles killing and maiming civilians and children in tents.
